  • Saying Goodbye to Coach Dirk • Dylan and Dad are out shopping, getting last few things Dylan needs for college. They stop by Dylan’s high school so he can say goodbye to Coach Dirk. Dad waits in the car. But when twenty minutes pass by, Dad goes inside to see what is taking so long. When he gets to Coach Dirk’s office, Dad wonders why the blinds are closed.
  • Switching Up by Madakou • Brothers James and John take their sons, Anthony and Kevin, to the cabin on the lake for a guys only weekend. But James doesn’t know that his son Anthony has a thing for his brother John. And James is busy sneaking around with his nephew Kevin. However, as much as he loves his uncle James, Anthony also has his eyes on his dad. Oh, oh!
  • Understanding the Trinity • Jack strives to be better. He’s been baptized often, but it never takes. And Dad tells him not to watch porn in the living room. But when Dad is out, Jack can’t resist using the big screen to watch his favorite videos. So when an evangelizing father and son show up at while Jack is absorbed in his favorite pastime, he gets a live demonstration of the trinity. That is, how three beings can simultaneously be one.
  • Dad’s First Date • Chance finds Dad pacing in his living room. After being a single dad for five years, Dad has a first date. But he can’t decide what to wear. So Chance picks out the clothes, and makes sure Dad has clean underwear. However, when Dad changes underwear, Chances notices that Dad is too bushy.
  • Big Bill the Burger Queen • “Wait until you have to work for an asshole of a boss,” Uncle Bill tells Gary. But Gary can’t comprehend how difficult work can be. Not until he gets a full time job at a burger joint.

The Switch – Coming Saturday, Aug 7

The Switch by Madakou arrives Saturday, August 7, in Dad’s Bedtime Tales Newsletter 354. Brothers James and John take their sons, Anthony and Kevin, to their lakeside cabin. It’s a chance for the guys to have a fun weekend on their own.

What James doesn’t know is that his son Anthony is sneaking around for some alone time with his uncle John.

However, James isn’t innocent either. His nephew, Kevin, sure gets off having fun with him. And Anthony nearly catches the two in the act when he goes inside to get some beers.

“By the way, Dad, Uncle John and me are starving. Can you make us something to eat?” Anthony says when he goes inside.

“Sure, buddy… Uhh, give me 10 minutes okay?” Dad says.

So Anthony knows he has just ten minutes to play with Uncle John.

But as much as Anthony enjoys fooling around with Uncle John, deep down, he has feelings for his dad too. So much so that he suggests to Uncle John that he grow a beard.

“Hell, no!” Uncle John says. ”If I did that, I would look like your dad.”

But Chance points out. “If you end up at her place and she pulls those down, she may wonder if you’re human. Look at all this hair, Dad!”

Dad’s First Date

Dad’s First Date arrives Saturday, August 7, in Dad’s Bedtime Tales Newsletter 354. Chance finds his dad pacing in his bedroom. After being a single dad for five years, Chance’s dad has a first date. The dad’s nervous because it’s been so long since he’s dated.

Dad can’t decide what to wear. A busy executive, he’d be glad to wear a suit 24/7. But Chance knows that won’t do for a date.

First, Chance makes sure his dad wears a clean pair of briefs. Chance enjoys the fragrance of his dad’s worn briefs, but he doubts a date would.

But when Dad goes to put on the clean pair of briefs his son hands him, Chance sees another problem. Dad is all gorilla down there.

“You’re going like that?” Chance says pointing to his thick bush.

“Like what?” Dad says. He can’t see a problem.

But Chance points out. “If you end up at her place and she pulls those down, she may wonder if you’re human. Look at all this hair, Dad!”

So can Chance trim his dad’s bush and get him ready for his first date?
