Coming January 16 • Dad’s Bedtime Tales Newsletter 325 will be out this coming Saturday, January 16, by 8 a.m. Pacific Time. In issue 325, Ski Patrol Charlie is pissed when he has to apprehend a twerp snowboarding out of bounds.

When he sees Uncle Bart whisper something in Dad’s ear, and sees Dad laughing, Dash wonders what Uncle Bart just told his dad. Whatever Uncle Bart said, it eased Dad’s concerns.

Even though it is a stick, even though Dash doesn’t know how to drive a stick, Dash still wants that Mustang. He hands Uncle Bart the wad of cash he’s saved. Dad gets in the drivers seat, Dash sits in the passenger seat, and off they go.

So Dad drives the Mustang out into the country. He finds a quiet road where he can teach Dash how to handle a stick shift. But first, he wants to see how Dash handles his own stick, so he knows how to teach his son properly.

• Dad’s Thorough Training • Nikolai announces that he is going to bicycle the entire Pacific Coast from San Diego to Neah Bay. So Dad gets the two of them new touring bicycles. And starts training his son. But on one of their training rides, they pause at a lookout. Through binoculars, Nikolai spots two naked guys down on the beach kissing and touching. He’s sure Dad sees them too.
