Coming Saturday May 8. While bartending, Dad watches his son, Kenny, sitting at a table in the corner. He’s with another guy, holding the guy’s hands. But the other guy is not smiling. The other guy is about to burst out crying. Dad knows that Kenny is dumping the poor guy. He’s about to break his heart. It’s what his son does. Once he makes out with a guy, the thrill is gone, and Kenny is on to a new conquest.
Dad sees that the guy is madly in love with his son. But his son doesn’t care. He’s had the guy and is off to nail some new guy. He leaves the young man sobbing. Kenny melts into the crowd of dancing men. In a few minutes he leaves the bar with a new guy in tow.
The poor kid is still sobbing when Dad closes the bar. It’s time to pick up the pieces again and mend another heart his son has broken.
